IT’S REAL IN THE FIELD

Seemingly, a random thought popped into my head while I was messing around in my home today… but nothing is ever “random”; we just play it off. I intend to exploit these thoughts around a colleague who always presented as more righteous than most, while always defending her “friend” who was a moral piss pot, in the name of loyalty.

Every other word out of their mouth was “tha Lord”, but they would trade out righteousness for riotous carrying on’s when it came to their friend’s sexual exploits. The displayed a ruthless loyalty to their friend no matter the transgressions, but was quick to call out and hold others to a much higher standard without any verifiable proof of “sinfulness.”

These thoughts flooded my mind when I remembered a colleague who became a friendly associate, but was revealed to be fake. All while linked to my holy and righteous colleague. A group of colleagues, often lead by these three, made themselves the judge and jury for everyone else, except themselves or those in their circle.

Eventually, I feel off the track and took a much different path in life. Whenever I encounter anyone from the era in my life, they quickly tell me how different and off-putting this group had become over time. I’m never really surprised when I hear these reports, because my intuition has already alerted me to their sense of superiority and exclusivity. There was a time when they, “we” matters. Not anymore. I’ve accepted who they aren’t and keep my distance. In my option they are both morally and spiritually deficient.

As I said, there’s nothing random about how my life was preserved from the pretentious and stagnant positioning of their lives. I have no interest in them, without any malice, grudge, or unforgiveness. It simply doesn’t matter anymore.

I’m over it now… can’t really say how, but I’m over them now.
